It is truly fitting and proper that we remember and honor the sacrifices of our fallen Veterans during the Holiday

The Wreaths Across America program is based on an age-old tradition. Holiday Wreaths have long been associated with joy, triumph, honor, remembrance and eternity.

The Good Folks from Susanville

Had the pleasure of visiting with some mighty fine folks in Susanville this week.

On Monday, I had the opportunity to meet and speak with members of the Lassen County Republican Central Committee…a truly wonderful group of conservatives.  After and during my presentation, we had a lively discussion on a whole variety of important matters affecting our country and her future.

On Tuesday, I was invited to attend the Susanville Tea Party meeting.  Now that was a  pretty lively group of freedom-loving patriots.  Lots of great information was shared that evening and I had a wonderful opportunity to speak about my reasons for running for congress.  These folks are really motivated and ready, willing and able to work hard to ensure constitutionally-principled candidates, at all levels, are elected to office in 2012.

Thanks to all for your hospitality, your suggestions, and your endless devotion to your country.

God bless.

Thank you Chico Republican Women’s Federated!

What a great honor and priviledge to have been invited to speak at today’s luncheon meeting of the Chico Republican Women’s Federated.

Fantastic turnout with over 70 good conservatives showing up for the affair.  Outstanding leadership by Sue and her great team of Republican women.  And, a delectable meal to boot.  What more could one hope for?

Thank you Chico Republican Women’s Federated for your wonderful hospitality, your service to your community and nation, and your commitment to our shared conservative values.

God bless you and God bless America!

On the Road (and loving it!)

Friends,

It’s been a busy few days.  So busy, in fact, I haven’t had time to blog an update on my travels.

This past Wednesday evening, I attended a special gathering of the Butte County Taxpayers’ Alliance in the chico area.  What a wonderful group of committed conservatives intent on getting government spending under control rather than raising taxes.  It’s a proven fact that raising taxes now would only serve to depress an already anemic economy and ultimately reduce the amount of revenue received.  The best solution is to reduce taxes and cut regulations and unleash the entrepreneurial power and creativity of Americans!  Thank you Butte County Taxpayers’ Alliance for the invitation!  :  )

Last night, Thursday, I attended and spoke at the Shasta County Republican Central Committee meeting in Redding.  Was real nice seeing so many old friends.  After my presentation, folks applauded my honesty, my passion and my desire to give the voters of the 1CD a clear choice in the upcoming election.  Thank you SCRCC for the opportunity to come and speak…very much appreciated.

Today, we’re off to Susanville.  Plan to walk the town and neighbors during the afternoon and visit the local newspaper.  Then, there’s a wine and beef affair which ought to be a lot of fun.

More later….
